I started practicing architectural design and master planning internationally for TVS International (tvsdesign) in 2003.  I was the lead project designer on a number of large-scale master plans including the proposed 125-acre Solidere Waterfront master plan in Beirut, Lebanon, and a key designer for the proposed 250-acre Lulu Island Master Plan in Abu Dhabi.  I traveled to Dubai extensively for design visioning charrettes with the clients and for consultant meetings.  I was also the lead project designer for the 88-story office tower of the proposed Dubai Towers Dubai mixed-use project.  It gave me the amazing opportunity to collaborate with some of the most talented A/E professionals in the industry.  Tripoli Towers, a proposed 4.8 million SF mixed-use waterfront development with two 50-story towers, was another one of my designs.   I provided design guidance to a 15+ member design team working in 3 different time zones.  In 2006, I became the youngest Associate Principal in TVS firm history, and in 2008, I was selected among a group of 275 outstanding finalists from around the United States as one of the top 40 rising A/E professionals featured in the Building Design + Construction Magazine’s “40 under 40”.

The diverse professional experience I have acquired as a project designer at a large international firm and later as the founding partner/design director at a small firm gives me keen insights to efficiently manage project teams, time, budget, and effectively implement digital technologies.  My growing experience as a freelance architectural design consultant to other architectural firms enables me to collaborate seamlessly with both large and small practices in the delivery of their projects.

If you are a developer looking for an experienced architectural designer and a master planner, I look forward to connect with you, and help you create that unique vision for your next project.  If you are an architecture firm searching for a multifaceted architectural designer, I look forward to collaborate with you as a freelance design consultant.

To learn more about my qualifications, below is a link to my professional resume.

I love to design.      I am a registered architect with over 18 years of architectural design and master planning experience in large domestic and international projects.  I have created an extensive collection of conceptual designs, architectural designs, and ambitious master plans across a wide spectrum of project types for developers in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, China, India, Saudi Arabia, and the United States.

I provide architectural design and master planning services to domestic and international developers as well as design consultancy services to A/E firms looking for an experienced architectural designer and master planner to collaborate with their design teams.

As the original Founding Partner and Design Director at Quantum-AIP between 2009 and 2015, I led the design and production efforts in the firm, and participated regularly in design competitions to explore new building typologies and architectural vocabularies.  In 2010, working in collaboration with an Indian consortium, I led the design team that won an international competition for a 14 million SF commercial, residential, and entertainment project in Navi Mumbai.  While that ambitious project was never realized due to funding, it nevertheless was still an amazing experience to be able to compete with large high caliber international firms and win.  In 2012, several of my conceptual design proposals for the GCC region were showcased in the book "Superlative Emirates: The New Dimension of Urban Design" published by DAAB.  In 2014, working in collaboration with HKS Atlanta design team, I was the lead project designer for the O4W-ATL Atlanta Civic Center Redevelopment Competition proposal submitted under Carter, and Glenbrook Hills Capital.  Our master plan proposal was published in the August 2014 edition of the Atlanta Business Chronicle.

During the first 5 years of my 11 year tenure (1998–2009) at TVS (now tvsdesign), I was a member of the convention center studio and worked on a number of highly complex convention center facilities, such as the Georgia World Congress Center Phase IV Expansion, and McCormick Place West Hall expansion.  I also worked on complicated government facilities, and was the lead project designer for Centers for Disease Control’s Transshipping Facility in Atlanta.

I believe great design comes from creating a shared vision with the client from the very beginning of the design process.  That shared vision becomes the keystone that unifies and guides the evolution of the design.  I believe design constrains are opportunities in disguise. They motivate us to look beyond the conventional and create truly innovative solutions.
