Convention Center and Textile Mart Master Plan
Role: Project Designer
The proposed 1.2 million SF high tech facility is the first phase in a master plan for the design of a new convention and textile trade complex. The two building volumes are interconnected to allow the two main program components to operate both independently as well as a unified facility.
The convention center program includes exhibition halls, wedding hall ballrooms, outdoor function spaces, meeting rooms, and a congress hall.
The Textile Mart's key objective is to promote international trade and will include provision for commercial shops and a shipping facility where local and foreign vendors can purchase and ship their goods internationally.
