Cultural Arts Center Complex and Master Plan
Role: Project Designer
Three simple orthogonal volumes representing “past, present and future” form the basic concept for this 2.7 million sf cultural arts complex master plan proposal.
A low interconnecting podium base unifies the museum buildings and houses a day care, a police station and government offices providing social services to registered district inhabitants. The scheme allows for the creation of internal courtyards for diverse social and religious events. The large central court will host outdoor performances, exhibits and civic gatherings.
