Speculative Office and Apartment Mixed-Use Development

Role: Project Designer

This 50-story tower design proposal has a building area of 1 million SF and is located between a paved civic park and a water canal. The two lower sections of the shifting tower contain office and small retail shops, and the higher section is dedicated to executive apartments with the top floors accommodating two 3-level penthouses.

To address the surrounding urban context which contains a disjointed mix of low, mid, and high-rise buildings, the tower shifts in orientation to capture the best views as the building rises, thus giving the building its unique and iconic geometry.
