Music Village at Kaohsiung Popular Music Complex
Role: Project Designer
The Music Village component of the Kaohsiung Popular Music Complex competition proposal is intended as a collection of multi-use performance halls with flexible layouts that are able to accommodate large and small performances simultaneously through strategic use of operable walls.
The Music Village district also contains a large green urban park that will host outdoor festivals as well as live music performances. Its centerpiece is a large elliptical high-definition screen that can broadcast worldwide shows.
I was the lead project designer for this competition proposal. This was one of three international design competitions in Taiwan I entered between 2011-2012.
